Possibly the best show for good matches... At least it used to be. This episode of Superstars left a lot to the imagination, the matches were mostly bland and featured lower tier wrestlers, like ones you'd see on NXT. Yoshi Tatsu for example. What was Trent Baretta doing on NXT? They must've got Yoshi Tatsu and Trent mixed up. Anyway, it's time for:

SUPERSTARS IN A NUT SHELL

First of all, here's the results from the show's matches:

Wade Barrett defeated Yoshi Tatsu

Evan Bourne defeated Michael McGillicutty.

Brie Bella defeated Kelly Kelly

And now for some interesting stuff I noticed on the show. Now I know Superstars isn't a show for storylines or promos, it's just about the matches, so don't expect the usual amount of stuff I put here, instead of picking out stuff outside the matches, I'll just talk about the matches themselves.

So Yoshi Tatsu's gimmick has been completely wasted. It could have been awesome, but they kept the same fun-loving character as before. If he's going to have the whole Japanese warrior look, at least make him act like one and for god's sake give him a more fitting theme. I don't think WWE fully understand the potential of the gimmick, it could work perfectly, it's a shame they kept his character and only changed his look. He's most likely going to be gone soon.

During the Evan Bourne/Michael McGillicutty match, Evan was treated like a jobber throughout the whole thing. He hardly got any moves in at all, the match belonged to Michael. I was really hoping that they'd actually let Michael get a win after beating on Evan, I like the guy and I'd really like him to get a push. Still, even though he lost, he still dominated the match up from start to finish. Hopefully that's a good sign.

I was surprised to see that they'd put a Divas match in the main event. This is rare and kind of refreshing to see. It gives a chance to the women to make a main event worthy match up... It's just a shame that they aren't capable of doing such a thing. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not some kind of sexist bastard, but you can't deny that the Divas are nowhere near as good as the men when it comes to putting on an entertaining match. I'm glad Brie won however, because she is ten times better than Kelly Kelly.
